What’s on Queer BC has been online now since 2014 and over the years we have received many emails. Here are some of the more common questions.

  • You can find drag events and production companies as well as links on our new Vancouver Drag page.

  • Yes, you can find a good listing on our Queer Sports & Recreation page

  • There are a few different organizations that can help newcomers find their way in Metro Vancouver. You’ll find them on our Community Resources page here: https://whatsonqueerbc.com/woq-resources/bc-lgbtq-community-resources

  • What’s On Queer BC has a full Queer Resources section which we are constantly updating.

  • Yes, we publish press releases and posters if you send them over to us - if the event is in BC, there’s no charge.

  • At this time we do not have capacity for interviews. However, if you’d like to write an article we will publish it as long as the person is from BC or the event in question will be happening in BC.

  • We do publish articles and guest posts. This service is free if they are relevant to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in BC. Send your article over and we’ll take a look. Or pitch it to us at whatsonqueerbc@gmail.com

  • At this time we do not have the capacity to pay writers. However, we will publish your article and link to your blog or website at no charge. This offer is for BC writers only.

  • Yes we do accept articles with sponsor links. Please see our page on Advertising for details and rates.
