Davie Village is celebrating loud and proud this Pride!

On Sunday, August 3, the Davie Village Pride Festival returns to the West End for the first time in six years.

From 2:00 to 10:00 p.m., Davie Street (Burrard to Jervis) and Nelson Park (2:00 to 9:00 p.m.) will host live music, drag shows, DJs, roaming performers, community booths, and activities for all ages.

This event closes out Vancouver Pride Weekend with a full day of queer celebration, presented in partnership with @westendbia and @qmunity.

What to Expect

The 2025 Davie Village Pride Festival will feature:

  • Live music, drag performances, DJs, and roaming entertainers

  • Licensed lounges and extended patios along Davie Street

  • An all ages and low-sensory zone in Nelson Park (2:00 – 9:00 p.m.)

  • Local vendors, community pop-ups, and interactive experiences

From DJs to drag royalty, the Main Stage brings high-energy performances all afternoon and evening:

Concord Pacific Community Stage — Nelson Park

Showcasing local queer musicians and collectives in a historic gathering space:

  • 2:00 p.m. – Hyenas – Fierce, feminist punk from one of Vancouver’s loudest queer bands

  • 3:15 p.m. – Edzi’u – Indigenous futurism and ambient-electronic soundscapes meet powerful storytelling

  • 4:45 p.m. – Leo D.E. Johnson – A soulful storyteller with charisma to spare

  • 6:30 p.m. – Hot Dyke Party – Sapphic joy in dancefloor form

  • 8:15 p.m. – Headliner: Kimmortal – Electrifying genre-bending artistry to close the night

ASL interpretation will be provided at this stage from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The park will also feature interactive activities like button making, ribbon crafting, and colouring, as well as community booths and local queer artisans. Nelson Park holds special meaning as the starting point of Vancouver’s first Pride march in 1981, making it a powerful backdrop for connection, remembrance, and joy.

Celebrities Stage – Outdoor Street Party

Curated by Celebrities Nightclub, this third stage brings DJs, dancers, and drag into the heart of the street party:

  • 2:00 p.m. – ETOH

  • 3:30 p.m. – Binky

  • 4:30 p.m. – Sam Steele

  • 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Dancers

  • 6:30 p.m. – Gissala

  • 8:00 p.m. – Diego Valentina

  • 9:00 p.m. – Tommy Drag Surprise

Accessibility

Source: Vancouver Pride Society - Nelson Park features a shade tent reserved for those requiring seating at the Concord Community Stage. Seating options include basic folding chairs and guests are welcome to bring their own lawn/camping chairs to use in this space. Access is via flat finely gravelled pathways and tent is situated on flat grass (2pm-9pm)

Nelson Park drop off zone: Taxi/Evo/Uber drop off zone is located along Thurlow Street at Nelson. This drop off zone is approximately 200ft along finely gravelled pathways to the Concord Community Stage, washrooms, and food services.

Food services include: Hot Dogs & Veggie dogs (Gluten free buns available), Elotes corn cobs (Gluten Free options), Jamaican patties (Stewpeas Vegan Jamaican Patty - pinto beans, chickpeas, onions, carrots, corn, green peas, green beans, potato, coconut milk, as well as meat options), popsicles (gelato sandwiches and sorbet push pops are nut free but are processed in a facility with nuts)
